Description
The Nepivel H17 Emergency Weather Radio is a rugged, multi-functional survival tool engineered for outdoor adventurers, campers, and household disaster preparedness. This versatile device keeps you connected and informed during power outages, severe weather, and off-grid excursions by receiving highly sensitive AM, FM, and NOAA weather alerts through its fifteen point three inch telescopic antenna.
Featuring a massive twelve thousand milliampere hour built-in rechargeable battery, this unit doubles as a reliable mobile power bank to charge smartphones and small electronic devices when grid power is unavailable. Designed for ultimate reliability, the radio operates on three distinct charging methods: Type-C USB charging for everyday preparation, dual high-efficiency integrated solar panels for passive outdoor replenishment, and a mechanical hand crank for manual power generation during critical situations.
Beyond communication, this seven-in-one survival device includes a bright three-mode LED flashlight illuminating up to twenty meters, a fold-out reading lamp for low-light conditions, an integrated compass for navigation, a dedicated headphone jack, and a piercing SOS emergency alarm to signal for assistance. A clear digital display monitors radio frequencies, while a four-level LED indicator ensures you can track remaining power at twenty-five, fifty, seventy-five, and one hundred percent capacity.
How to use
- To charge the internal battery, connect the provided Type-C cable to a USB power source, place the device in direct sunlight for solar charging, or rotate the mechanical hand crank at a steady pace.
- Use the power dial to turn on the unit, select your desired AM, FM, or weather band frequency using the auto-search function, and extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
- Lift the top handle to expose the reading lamp, click the flashlight button to cycle through lighting modes, and press the dedicated SOS button to activate the loud emergency audible siren.

Great radio that is so much more than just a radio.
Finally had a reason to use this. Charged the radio upon arrival and set it aside. 2 months later power goes out for 46 hours. I was able to keep my phone charged (twice), tablet (once) by using a combination of the hand crank and solar to recharge the unit. The radio also ran nonstop. I did not need the flashlight much but it worked every time I turned it on.Sound quality on the radio is better than expected. The light is plenty bright. All controls are easy to understand and operate. Solid little radio that does so much more than you expect.

Peace of mind!
I bought this after a tornado came through our town and we figured out that my cell service is not reliable in the closet during bad weather lol. My son was so scared that I thought this might help. 2 weeks after I got it another tornado came through and this time we could hear the updates on time and clearly. The reception was great, the flashlight and other lights came in handy and it's very easy to use.I love that it has a crank to charge it if you need to and we tried out the solar charging and it works! It feels heavy and well made, and now it lives in our storm closet. I may even buy another one to keep in my Jeep.
