    I noticed a calming effect - excellent product!

    Nordic Naturals is a reputable company with superior products, and this one did not disappoint. A daily Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega supplement was already part of my routine, so switching to this product was not a huge leap. The gel capsules are the same size, but the Mood Support capsules are black rather than the traditional yellow color of most Omega 3 supplements. They have no flavor, are easy to swallow despite their large size, and I have not suffered any side effects.I compared this product with my usual supplement, mentioned above, because I was curious if the Mood Support with ashwagandha would make any difference in how I feel. I've been taking them for a week now, and I can honestly say that I do feel calmer. There has not been a drastic change, but enough to notice. Time will tell if this can be attributed to the ashwagandha, but I've drawn a personal correlation between the two.Because the levels of EPA and DHA vary between this product and my usual Nordic Naturals omega-3 supplement, I wanted to compare the two. Here's a breakdown between them:Mood Support Ultimate Omega1000 EPA 650 EPA188 DHA 450 DHAI noticed the DHA in the Mood Support is less than half of the Ultimate Omega, and became curious about the differences between DHA and EPA. A quick internet search to revealed that EPA is primarily involved in reducing inflammation, supporting heart health, and supporting a more balanced mood, while DHA may have stronger anti-inflammatory effects on the brain, (supporting cognitive function, memory, and motor speed), and is overall more related to supporting brain and eye function. Both are thought to lower triglycerides in the body, among other benefits. EPA can be converted to DHA in the body, although not very efficiently.For me, the bottom line is, this product checks all of the crucial boxes:*It has more than 500 mg of combined EPA and DHA*It comes from a reputable company*It is 3rd party tested*It is Certified Sustainable; the company meets standards of transparency and accountability.*The price per capsule is a good value.I appreciate the calming effect of ashwagandha and think this is a great product, however, I personally desire more DHA, so I'm not ready to switch to the Mood Support. I will, however, be sure to incorporate it into my routine when I'm extra stressed!

    Exceptional supplement!

    There cannot be enough said for Omega Fatty Acids! They help with muscle gain, weight gain, hormone levels, energy levels, and repair at the cellular level. Nordic Naturals definitely deliver the needed nutrient. This particular product is the "horsepill" size. Overall an Excellent product!

    A nice natural support

    I use this mood support blend alongside of a happy lamp, exercise and eating well. I used to be on antidepressants and so badly wanted off of them. This is a natural way to support your metal health. I believe it helps.
