    Its doing what I bought it for. So far so good!

    This is my first experience with berberine. I read that it had similar effects as popular weight loss meds like Ozempic or Wegovy. This is how I found out about berberine. My insurance is denying all the medications for weight loss so I decided to try this out.I started taking them Feb. 8, 2025. This review is being written April 1, 2025. In that time I've lost ~50 pounds. Which sounds like a lot, but I'm a VERY large man. So don't get too excited. Along with starting to take berberine I adjusted my diet significantly (this is probably the most important part). I completely cut out carbs and sugar (not counting apples and bananas, other fruit). I increased the protein and veg intake. NO BREAD!!! NO DESSERTS!!! NO SODIE POPS!!!Over time I found that I do not crave food as much. I feel full sooner. My food intake has decreased quite a bit. Taste buds have changed and food tastes better. Milk is sweet now. Its all very exciting.Now, all this does come with a price. Like many others have expressed there is a slight bit of stomach discomfort. I've felt nauseous and have had to run to the bathroom multiple times and it wasn't to vomit. Whatever came out of me was from the depths of Hell. It was NOT solid. It is the total opposite of solid, if you catch my drift. And at first, I didn't read the symptoms and made mistakes but over time you start to feel it before it happens. So, it IS manageable. However, I would not take this on a road trip, a long movie/play, at work, school, etc... Unless you can handle a stream of waste that feels like your butt is a super soaker. So, there is risk involved. Everyone will react differently.All in all, I will continue taking this. I feel like the benefits outweigh the gastric drawbacks. I am ready to lose another 50 pounds and then some.My advice... try it out. You might be surprised.

    A good support for the heart and (peri)menopause

    It works, but if you are currently in ketosis or transitioning off a GLP-1, do not start with the recommended serving; take it slowly. I recommend taking your capsules midway through breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you don't transition into this supplement gradually, expect bloating, water weight gain, constipation, diarrhea, or cramping at the start.My advice is to take one capsule a day for two weeks, then bump it up to two capsules a day (one per meal) for another two weeks. From there, you can transition to three capsules a day. Again, take them in the middle of your meal.I learned this lesson the hard way when I first started months ago. Once I reset and restarted slowly, it was smooth sailing. Staying hydrated is also vital. Ultimately, my body couldn't handle three capsules a day, so I settled on two. Taking two capsules a day is the best system for me after monitoring my digestion and reactions.I take them with my heaviest meals (breakfast and lunch) and follow a 14/10 fast. These are easy to swallow with no aftertaste. I think it's a great "bang for your buck," and I've found this brand most effective for managing my cholesterol levels, which is a genetic factor for me regardless of weight. I keep a food journal rather than a calorie count to track what I eat, as it helps me quickly identify any "culprits" that are difficult to digest.
