    Get your Vitamin C without stomach upset

    Im on a subscription plan for this buffered vitamin C. I never could take vitamin c tablets because they tore up my stomach. Until these. I'm healthier now because I can take my vitamin C every day with no stomach pain!

    Yes, they're large...but...

    These are high quality supplements that I've come to expect from Now brand. There seems to be a misunderstanding with people concerning math and the fundamentals of matter. If you want something that is an entire gram PLUS several hundred mg of other ingredients (bioflavonoids), they're going to be big. Are these huge? No. If you're used to eating real food, a hamburger or sandwich, you regularly swallow bites much larger than this. It's all in your head. I swallow these along with 5 or 6 other supplements that I take. Don't think about pills. Think about a thick juicy steak as you swallow. If you can't do that, get pills that have less vitamin c in them and take several. Don't complain about a company selling you exactly what you asked for. And removing stars for that? That's just wrong.

    Vitamin C = Collagen Production

    A lot of people don't realize this but Vitamin C is necessary for collagen production. No VitC = no collagen. Almost all animals make their own Vitamin C. Humans still have the gene but it's inactive. Imagine how much more youthfully everyone would age if they had OPTIMAL levels of Vitamin C constantly rather than the recommend low dose that's barely just enough to stop scurvy. Many talk about Vitamin C in terms of getting sick, etc, because it is an antioxidant, but Glutathione is even better in that regard. So remember, Vitamin C is essential for collagen production. Look this up. Since VitC is water soluble, it doesn't stay in your blood for long, so it's better to spread out grams of it, not just milligrams throughout the day.To the people complaining about pill size, get a cheap pill cutter and cut it into 2 or 3 pieces or just stop trying to swallow with with a dry mouth...The best form of Vitamin C to intake would be one that's encased in lipids, like Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C but that's much more expensive. So it's more reasonable to get it from various sources in different forms in order to save money and this C-1000 complex is a great supplement for the money; key word being supplement.
