    Really works!

    This it the first D-Mannose powder I've tired, I don't know if there are better varieties.But, THIS WORKS!!!I had a UTI, severe enough to cause me to have some pre-term contractions. I got it under control, but had to forgo ANY sugar. I drank lots of vile cranberry juice - but it started to irritate my stomach. I would turn green looking at the bottle, haha!I got this when I realized that after 2 days of eating normally, the UTI was returning. While I waited 2 days for this to ship, eating was very depressing. I would try to avoid all sugar and then eat some and pay for it. Ouch. Finally, this arrived. It is very mild tasting, slightly sweet if you mix it with strait water. I put 1teaspoon in about 1/3 cup of water. It dissolves EASILY - very easily.Instead of the 2x's a day, I took it 3x's the first day -being so tired of the uti. I felt like the UTI was gone, and only took it twice the next day. Last night before I took it (I went from about 6am to 8pm without taking it) the burning was coming back along with feeling like I had to go all.the.time. Sorry if this is TMI. My symptoms returning helped me remember to take it before bed. I must say, this is my 3rd day taking it, I've taken it twice today and I LOVE being symptom free. I will take it for a few more days to make 100% sure. This is eating like a normal person, not just meat and vegetables. LOL And none of the dreadful cranberry juice; I'm just taking the D-mannose powder and it is definitely working - when I take it. I think I just have to take it longer than I think necessary so it doesn't rise from the dead. It is so nice being symptom free. It almost feels like it soothes my whole system after I drink it. Very happy that I bought this, I will be keeping it on hand!!! I'm glad I finally listened to my mom and tried it. :)I don't know if it is supposed to be a one-time deal, but this is my experience with it so far. HTH someone!

    Easy to Use DMannose - Perfect for Urinary Concerns

    I originally came across the Now Brand for myself due to it having a great safety record compared to other known vitamin/supplement brands.I mainly bought this Dmannose on the recommendation of my cat's vet to be used to help with her UTI she had about a year ago. And oh my, after only a couple days use, her symptoms cleared. Gave her 90 days worth as recommended (maybe 1/16th a tsp since it's a cat) and then stopped. Now she only gets it as needed or if symptoms seem to pop up, with a 20-30 day break so my girl does not become accustomed.Also have used it myself a few times, as I am prone to mild urinary issues during the beginning of my cycle. It dissolves well into cold liquids (I do very watered down apple juice 1:4 ratio, maybe 1:5), only 1/2 to 1 tsp commonly works enough for me once to twice daily until my cycle ends.
