    Great For Keeping Weight On My Father

    While I currently use MCT oil for the same reasons many have already discussed, I want to also mention that this was an important part of my father's diet for several years. He was living with me and being in his late 80's/early 90's, ensuring that he had a well rounded diet and kept his weight steady was a large part of my care program. I used MCT oil in his daily lunchtime smoothie. He never knew it was there but it added about 100 calories to his meal...which was part of the reason we managed to keep his weight steady in spite of his greatly diminished appetite.This MCT oil by NOW is pretty standard...it's produced from coconuts by "fractionating" the oil (through a water process) to take the part out that makes it white and has all the flavor. So you end up with a clear, tasteless, stable oil that helps to regulate insulin levels while providing energy.I also use it in cooking but not frying because of the low smoke point. And being Organic, this is a must have for ANY kitchen that is looking for healthier options.

    Excellent quality, no taste, in glass bottle ! I have been ordering this MCT oil from Dropy for several years. It's alway arrives unbroken ! Ships in a box with the glass oil packed in a cardboard bottle shaped form to keep bottle from breaking. I use this MCT oil for high heat cooking, salad dressings, add to drinks (hot & cold) (tasteless) for appetite control and metabolism.
