FAQs
What is a flat plug power strip?
A flat plug power strip features an ultra-thin, low-profile wall plug designed to fit flush against the wall outlet. This allows you to push heavy furniture, desks, and bookshelves completely flat against the wall without damaging the cord or plug.
Is it safe to use an extension cord plugged into a power strip?
No, daisy-chaining or plugging an extension cord into another power strip is not recommended as it can exceed the maximum electrical capacity and create a fire hazard. It is safer to use a single long-cord unit like this fifteen-foot model.
Can I plug large electronics and appliances into this power strip?
This power strip has a rated power capacity of 1250 Watts and includes an automatic circuit breaker. It is ideal for computers, laptops, monitors, lamps, and mobile devices, but should not be used with high-wattage appliances like microwaves or heaters.
