FAQs
Is carrying a walkie talkie legal in India?
License-free low-power short-range walkie talkies operating on specific PMR446 bands are legal for civilian use in India. However, high-power GMRS or professional-grade two-way radios may require operating permissions or licensing from the Wireless Planning and Coordination wing of the Ministry of Communications.
What is the actual communication range of these two-way radios?
These walkie talkies can achieve a communication range of up to six miles in open, unobstructed environments like flat rural spaces or coastal areas. In urban settings with buildings or heavily forested terrains, the physical structures will naturally reduce the active signal range.
Are these walkie talkies rechargeable?
Yes, this two-pack set comes complete with rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs and a dedicated dual charging dock. This setup allows you to recharge both portable radios simultaneously from a single standard power source.
Are the Nuleto walkie talkies sold on Dropy India authentic?
Yes, absolutely. Dropy India specializes in sourcing authentic, premium products directly from the United States of America, ensuring that you receive original international electronics with guaranteed quality.
What does the triple-proof design protect against?
The advanced triple-proof construction provides an IP55 rated shield that makes the walkie talkies waterproof against rain splashes, dustproof against outdoor dirt, and highly shockproof against accidental drops on hard ground.
