    Love it!

    I can't say enough about this line. I have hyperpigmentation and oily skin and have noticed a huge improvement in the way my skin looks and feels after using the brightening serum and pads. I have added in the serum to my daily routine and can't wait to see how effective it'll be paired with the other products!

    Great Ingredients, Gentle Exfoliation

    I've always searched for skin care by using the scientific ingredient name. That's how I found numbuzin products, and I've been using them for a while now. numbuzin ingredients are "cutting edge" and most importantly, THEY'VE BEEN REASONABLY PRICED. Normally I don't use alpha hydroxy acid formulations (or other exfoliators). My skin can be sensitive, but so far, no irritation. They've also included humectants and moisturizers in Ceramide AHA Glazed Skin Prep Serum, including sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer which can break down less quickly than sodium hyaluronate and hydrate the skin surface for longer periods of time (I also spritz my face with water after using sodium hyaluronate - If sodium hyaluronate actually attracts and binds water to the skin, it can only help). It also contains glycosaminoglycans (GAGS) which is another way it's possible to bind moisture to the skin. It includes a number of ceramides, AP, NS, EOP, AS and phytosphingosine too. It was definitely time to use a good exfoliator. That's part of the skin care process, and because it also includes moisturization and skin barrier protection, it's even gentle enough for my skin (That doesn't mean I'll be paying $26 for it).

    Don't Be Afraid of the Glycolic Acid…Beautiful Serum

    I should have reviewed this sooner, but to be honest, I'm a little bit of a skincare ".junkie", who orders a LOT of skincare, especially Korean brands. I have used several Numbuzin products, and have some that I currently rotate in my skincare routine. They are quality products and I have only ever experienced skin irritation with one and it was a toner. Although I ordered the product, I was a little hesitant to work it into my routine (I'm like that with most new products), because I have sensitive skin that can be very reactive. My skin was in a good place, so I was hesitant to chance it-especially because of the Glycolic Acid. After reading the available reviews, I decided to give it a try this week and I am very happy to report that it is working beautifully. I have used it in my AM routine along side a peptide serum, growth factors, a Centella serum and my sunscreen. I did stop my Vitamin C, so as not to overdo it with too many actives. I will try adding it back in next week and see how it works, but for now, I am very happy with it. It does not have a scent. I can actually see this being a repurchase.

    Hydrating Exfoliation That Respects the Skin Barrier

    This is a thin, watery serum with no discernible scent. It spreads well and absorbs quickly and doesn't make my face feel sticky or greasy. I'm typically very careful with glycolic acid because I have mild rosacea, but this did not cause me to flare or irritate my skin in any way. I feel that is because this is absolutely loaded with skin loving ingredients like 5 different types of ceramides, glycerin, panthenol, beta-glucan, and cholesterol - all of which are great for skin barrier support. I have used a few other 'gentle' exfoliants with glycolic acid and none of them have been as helpful for my skin as this one has been. I did patch test first on places I know experience irritation easily - the inside of my elbow, under my jaw, and behind my ear. I knew that this would be great for me when the patch tested skin felt soft and moisturized as soon as the serum absorbed. I use this right after cleanings in my night routine twice a week, on the nights I'm not using retinol and I have never had any pilling with the products that I use afterwards. This serum has a pH right around 4.25 according to my pH test strips, which is an effective level for exfoliation without irritating sensitive skin. After using this for almost two full months I can say that my skin looks glowy and smooth - about a month after I started using this, I went to work for the first time in years without putting on foundation. When I do wear makeup now, my makeup lasts longer with less creasing and my dry patches are much less obvious. This arrived in a sealed box, with an expiration date of 4/2028 and the product has a PAO of 12 months. I would highly recommend this serum for anyone with sensitive skin who would like to incorporate an exfoliant. I would only caution to patch test first.
