    HANDS DOWN THE BEST I'VE USED!

    I have absolutely sworn by this stuff since 2000 when my equine vet recommended it for an elderly mare. After many, many, *many* years of experience with horses, I believe this is the best oral supplement/medication on the market. It actually works! The canine version and the human version also work, and its my understanding that this was the most highly recommended brand name by medical professionals.Most of my animals have shown definite responses within the first 60 days, but some have required as much as 90 days if they began their doses while in particularly bad shape. And some have shown improvement within less than 30 days. Do be sure to follow instructions regarding a "loading" dose and do give it a full 90 days - and its more than likely that you'll have the satisfaction of seeing your horse (or mule or pony or dog or whatever critter is taking it) become much more comfortable.TOTALLY recommended!

    Good for dogs too

    My girlfriend does a ton of research and she learned that these were great for her two pups. She uses a third of a teaspoon for each dog. My dog is 140 pounds and I do half a scoop. Only once a day. I think it's good to give to my giant breed and he likes the taste.

    A good economical way to get the good stuff for your dog

    It takes a bit more work than handing one of the pills to your dog as a treat. You do have to pull it out and then have to measure and then sprinkle over their food, but do a cost analysis and it is worth it if you feel that nutramax is the only way to go with Glucosamine Chondroitin for your dog.

    It takes time to work but well worth it

    I bought this for my teenage ex-racehorse who was having some stiffness in his stifle. With consistent dosing it has helped with his mobility and he is able to stand for the farrier without discomfort. He's been taking for several years now and is doing great!
