  1. Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area before making the formula.
  2. Sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring by boiling in water.
  3. Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to approximately one hundred and four degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into the sterilized feeding bottle.
