  Ok

  I bought this because this type of prebiotic is supposed to reduce overgrowth of intestinal candida yeast. I didn't notice any benefits, but I didn't have any negative reactions either. Honestly I don't know if I even have yeast, but I get some weird rashes on my feet sometimes.

  Great bacteria for gut health from a reputable brand

  I have taken Saccharomyces Boulardii before when my microbiome got destroyed and they were immediately helpful. There is a lot of research backing their benefits for a number of stomach issues -- basically anything that throws your microbiome off.NOT EVERYONE NEEDS THESE, but they do really help restore gut health for the people who do. I encourage you to look into the research before consuming and to start slowly to gauge the effects.Nutricost is a reputable brand that is effective, affordable, and has been around for a long time. They provide budget products at a fair price point, which makes them an excellent value.ConsumerLabs has tested them many times and they always come out okay for both correct potency and being what they say they are, and they are generally open about which labs do their third-party testing. But understand that you will not be getting top-of-the-line quality at this price point. These are a good balance of quality and cost and you can be confident you are consuming what the label says you are.These are shelf stable and while some die-off is to be expected, they are lot more accessible (and less expensive!) than the types that need non-stop refrigeration. That makes them very convenient, but perhaps (slightly) less potent than other options.Please note that they need to be stored in a cool dark place similar to yeast.Hope that helps!

  A quality product shown to address digestive system issues from a reputable brand

  I have been taking probiotic supplements for decades. This supplement is totally different. Saccharomyces boulardii is not your usual probiotic supplement, which are bacteria. It is a yeast, so it works differently. It is used for certain digestive system disorders and shorter term issues. Unlike most probiotics which are used for everyday general digestive system microbiome health, this is more specific for who would most benefit from using it. Since it is not a bacteria like other probiotics, it is not killed by and when taking antibiotics. Unlike many probiotics, it does not need refrigeration to maintain its potency. Each capsule contains 250 mg, over 5 billion CFUs (colony forming units), which makes it easy to take that amount, which is the suggested use on the bottle, or if warranted, more than one capsule. They also contain 200 mg. MOS, mannan oligosaccharides, a prebiotic that helps sustain beneficial digestive system bacteria. Nutracost is known to be a quality supplement brand. Their products pass independent testing, besides the third party testing they state that they have done, so I can be confident that the product contains what it states. And, it is also a value brand. Which means that it is at a reasonable price for the product. Being from a brand I know can be trusted, this is a good product for the benefits it provides when needed.

  A brand I trust

  I always take probiotics because I have a couple of different immune issues. Sometimes, I might switch brands for a bit or use a different formulation. I am very familiar with Nutricost. I trust them and the quality of their products. I've taken a variety of different types of supplements made by them through the years with excellent results. These capsules are easy to take with no taste or aftertaste. They seem to be working at the dose and strength recommended. I've had no side effects or gut issues with them at all. If they continue working, they are more than worth the cost.
