FAQs
How do you use a puppy dental kit?
Start by letting your puppy taste a small amount of the toothpaste from your finger. Once comfortable, apply the paste to the included toothbrush or finger brush and gently brush their teeth in a circular motion. Consistency is key to establishing a healthy lifelong routine.
Can I use human toothpaste on my puppy?
No, human toothpaste should never be used on puppies or dogs as it contains ingredients like xylitol and foaming agents that can be toxic and upset their stomach. Always use a specially formulated canine toothpaste like the one included in this kit.
At what age should I start brushing my puppy's teeth?
It is best to start brushing your puppy's teeth as early as possible, typically around eight to twelve weeks of age. Introducing a dental routine early helps them get used to the process and ensures healthy adult teeth.
