    As close to the old Swagger as you'll get

    We were really upset when they changed the Swagger scent a few years back. Finally we found this and it's not the same but it has similarities. The old Swagger was sandlewood vs the new is cedarwood. Well this Timber scent is sandlewood. It's mixed with other scents making it not the same but it smells delightful. It what a man should smell like haha. Very masculine and crisp clean smell. If you liked the Swagger scent 5 years or more ago and hate the new change then try this one. So far no chemical burns but we'll see!

    Masculine, High-Quality Scent That Goes On Clean

    This is an excellent deodorant with a great, masculine scent that isn't over-the-top or artificial. Finding a product that looks mature and avoids a "middle school locker room" vibe can be challenging-especially given some of Old Spice's more unusual scent names-but Timber feels grounded and normal. The product goes on clean, leaving no residue or sticky feeling. My only complaint is that it is not currently available in travel sizes.

    Does the job

    It's deodorant, not antiperspirant, so it won't keep your pits dry. But I find it very effective at keeping odor at bay. It says 24/7 protection which is kind of silly. I personally get about a day's worth of odor protection and I'm moderately active. I love the scent, which is sort of outdoorsy / pine tree. And it doesn't contain aluminum which is good.
