How to use

Nice dip starter color array, 32DIP-KIT-05
Openlive Dip Powder kit came in a plain cardboard box with dip powder stamped in black on the outside of the box and sealed with tape. You get 32 individual 0.35 oz. containers with lids that screw on/off with safety seals under each lid ranging from pastel to dark colors to ones with glitter in them, each container has a letter with 3 numbers on the bottom but no documentation stating the actual color. 5 small black nail files, black handled duster brush, a double ended cuticle pusher/scoop, 2 replacement lids with brushes attached, 1 0.34 fl. Oz. bottle of base, activator, top coat and brush saver. Each of these bottles has a number stamped on the top that so you don't accidentally grab the wrong bottle and apply product. A paper set of instructions is also included with this kit. This kit has a nice selection of different colored dip powders. The liquid base and activators are slightly stronger smelling than my other brand of dip powder but it's still not too bad. I chose B562 for my primary nail color, did 2 applications. I did a base layer color of B536 to act as my base color since I've learned the darker colors tend to stain my natural nails and it's especially difficult if they have glitter in them as well since the glitter is very hard to remove all of it even if using an e-file. I typically do 2-3 thin layers of dip powder since it makes them a little more durable although I have found that if you hit your nails too hard on something the dip powder will break or shatter. Usually I can get about 2 weeks wear out of a set of dip nails. I will sometimes need to smooth around the cuticles with a buffer file when my hair starts catching. The color turned out a little darker than the actual powder once the activator has been applied but my model was still very pleased with her choice of color. My model did manage to break her thumb nail while at work the day after dipping was done so it will need to be redone, only has one small spot of red color left on her nail as you can see from my above picture.
