    Macros Aren't Perfect but They'll do

    I personally hate the Quest Bars with a passion and was looking to the market to find a new protein product to meet my daily macros. I happened to see these in the store one day and thought that I would give them a shot. Boy, am I glad that I did because these little pucks as I call them are tasty. I like that they have a soft chewy texture and don't have the grittyness of other protein products. I was eating all of them at once and agree that they can cause some discomfort. However, now I eat a pack throughout the day and have avoided any adverse side effects. If you're looking for a sweeter protein product this is a good option.

    Nice soft-chewy texture, ~perfect!

    These have a texture like a whipped nougat; its still chewy, not soft as a marshmallow, so don't expect a real soft 'whipped' texture. They are delicious tho! The Red Velvet is not 'toooo sweet', but sweet enough. I think its my favorite. The "Birthday Cake" option is more sweet and has sprinkles on top, almost too sweet for me, but hits the spot when I have an elevated sugar-craving. I have tried many, many protein bars with great hope, but usually tire of the taste after having a couple, and end up giving the rest away. THESE however, I think are the Holy Grail. When I get my usual afternoon sugar-cravings, I reach for a packet, and it doesn't affect my blood sugar too much (only 5 grams). The day or two after I first received them, I went through like; 3 packets per day. My dog even loves them, and always hangs at my feet looking up to get her share(little bits)! She usually does NOT do that with my other sugar treats. lol! Now you KNOW that's a good product when the dog gets addicted (though I do not suggest getting them started!). I now go into a closed off place or hide my nibbling on these :-)

    I Feel Like I'm Cheating!

    I am in an online support group for people who have had bariatric surgery. We need to get a LOT of protein in with very little food. When someone posted about these bites, I decided to try them. Wow! Every time I eat one, I feel like I'm cheating! They have an excellent flavor and texture. They are not dense like many protein bars are. These are great to keep in the car for when I get caught out longer than planned, and great for my carry-on bag on flights. I would probably eat a lot more of them if they weren't so pricey. Instead, I save them for special occasions and emergencies. Great taste!

    yummy and taste like food

    These are yummy and taste like food. They have a bit of that chewy protein bar going but the color and the 'frosting' help it seems like red velvet rather than chewy gummy protein bar. I really like that they come as a three pack with that as a serving size. I can eat one bite for lunch time desert and then another for dinner desert plus have a leftover for a snack time munchie. Doesn't taste fake and weird aftertaste that happens a lot in these flavored cake protein genre. Good amount of protein for the calories too.
