I love this brand, but I got this super food one by accident. Tried it out wasn't my favorite and I went back to the original collagen by same manufacturer. Also, it does say that it has no taste to it, but the cinnamon in it is quite tasteful, possibly some other flavors in there I couldn't pick up on

I have often thought about taking collagen peptides after losing half of my body weight and at 64, I have loose skin. But I had read some mixed research and decided not to. Healthwise, this past year has not been a good one for me.Among other things, I ended up with a broken vertebrae and two months later broke three ribs. After the broken vertebrae, many things were recommended and one of them was collagen peptides. When I was picking up a prescription in August I noticed there was a sale on orgain collagen peptides +50 superfoods. So I decided to give it a try.I drink it one of two ways. I will either put two scoops in with my homemade hot cocoa mix and it taste amazing, the cinnamon really enhances the hot cocoa. It's wonderful on a cold winter morning, bundling up and sitting on my little balcony sipping my delicious and healthy hot cocoa.The other way I drink it is cold and I use a blender to mix about 10 ounces of milk, a scoop of quest chocolate milkshake protein powder, and two scoops of my collagen peptides. Normally quest takes 8 ounces of water but mixing it with two extra scoops of powder it's recommended to add up to 12 ounces and I found 10 to be perfect. it blends up super fast and it is super smooth, thick, and delicious!Although I'm primarily using this to help rebuild my severe osteoporosis (I also take a injection of a bone building medication) in conjunction with other supplements, I've noticed that my loose skin is actually tightening up slowly but surely! I did not expect this benefit as collagen levels drop in your early 30s. It certainly has made my hair grow faster and thicker. I also find that overall I feel better. Not great, but better than I felt six months ago 😁

I turned 61 a month ago and my fair skin is crepey and dry overnight! Geez. That being said I take vitamins and eat clean, but the one thing I don't have is more collagen in my diet.I received it a couple of days ago and have been using this product per the 2 scoop recommendation. I mixed it with my homemade lemon ginger water and found that it does require a bit of stirring to dissolve. It might dissolve a bit better in a warm liquid which I will try and let you know.I was leary of the taste from some of the reviews, but I found it to be pleasant. I taste a small hint of cinnamon which I like.It is a bit pricey, but you will pay a bit more for Organic products which I like. I hope I see some small results in a months time. If not, well...

Update. As much as I hate that this is happening, I'm having an allergic reaction to this stuff. For 3 weeks I've had a rash around my lips that would not go away. I finally got creams from my dermatologist and it cleared up quickly, but this was also around the time I ran out of this powder. I didn't connect the two. Fast forward a week later when my new shipment arrived. The rash slowly started coming back. I usually drink my coffee from a to-go cup with a lid, so contact with my lips is minimal. This morning, being a weekend and I'm at home, I just sat down with a nice cup of hot coffee. Within minutes after sipping from a mug, my lips have blown up. I didn't have any issues with the regular Orgain collegen but there must be something in the Superfoods blend that I'm reacting to. Bummed because I really like the flavor it adds!!! So I'm still giving this 5 stars because it's fantastic. It's my body that isn't liking it….I just finished my container of the one without the superfoods and decided to give this one a try. While it says it's unflavored, there is a slight hint of cinnamon, which makes my coffee taste FANTASTIC! That hint of cinnamon really elevates the coffee! I found the easiest way to dissolve is to put a scoop of powder in the mug, add hot coffee and stir. After it's blended, I add my creamer. For some reason, adding the powder after the creamer doesn't blend as well. Unlike what a previous reviewer stated about this "thickening" up, I haven't experienced that with my coffee. I haven't used it in anything else though.

I was very happy with that result. I can't say for sure whether that would happen with any collagen, but I chose this one specifically because of the added organic superfoods. If I'm going to take collagen every day, I like the idea of also getting an extra boost of vitamins and nutrients in each serving rather than just collagen alone.Another big reason I purchased this product is that it is Bobby Approved. That matters a lot to me. It doesn't contain natural flavors or other questionable ingredients, which is something I actively look for when buying supplements. The regular Orgain collagen without the superfoods is not Bobby Approved, so this version was definitely the better choice for me.I add this collagen to my protein drink in the morning after my workout. Since it's unflavored, it blends in perfectly and doesn't affect the taste at all-especially because I use a chocolate-flavored protein powder. No weird aftertaste, no sweetness, and no issues mixing.That said, this collagen has not helped my nails. My nails are still brittle, and I've realized that I probably need to increase my calcium intake to address that issue. If you're buying collagen specifically for nail strength, this may not be a noticeable benefit-at least it wasn't for me.Overall, I like this product for the clean ingredients, the added superfoods, and how easy it is to incorporate into my daily routine. I'll continue using it for hair support and general supplementation, but I don't consider it a fix-all-especially when it comes to nails.
