FAQs
What does a New 3DS XL come with?
A standard retail New Nintendo 3DS XL package originally includes the handheld console, a stylus, a microSDHC memory card, a set of AR cards, and a quick-start guide. Please note that an AC adapter charger is typically sold separately by the manufacturer, and external accessories like the OSTENT grip are third-party comfort additions.
Will this handle grip fit the standard or older versions of the Nintendo 3DS?
No, this specific bracket holder is exclusively designed for the 2015 revised model known as the New Nintendo 3DS XL (or New 3DS LL in Japan). It will not fit the older original 3DS XL, standard 3DS, or New 2DS XL models due to differences in chassis size and layout.
Does this comfort grip cover the game cartridge slot or power button?
This ergonomic grip fits tightly against the body to optimize comfort, which means accessing the power button or swapping game cartridges may require popping the console out of the flexible snap-on bracket. Fortunately, loading and unloading the console takes only a few quick steps.
