FAQs
Why do cat water fountains stop working?
Fountains usually stop working because pet hair or mineral buildup clogs the internal pump motor. Regular cleaning of the impeller and housing prevents blockages and ensures continuous water flow.
Are cat water fountains dishwasher safe?
Yes, the stainless steel components and removable trays on this model are top-rack dishwasher safe for easy sanitization. However, the electric pump motor should always be cleaned manually.
Do vets recommend cat water fountains?
Many veterinarians recommend moving water fountains because cats are naturally drawn to flowing sources, which encourages them to drink more water and supports better kidney and urinary health.
