FAQs
Is the AirTag holder for dog collars waterproof?
Yes, this accessory features an international standard IP68 rating, which utilizes a dedicated sealing ring to keep the tracker dry. It provides reliable water leakage protection even when submerged up to 30 meters deep underwater.
Why does Apple not recommend AirTags for pets?
Apple designed the AirTag primarily to locate inanimate items like keys or bags rather than moving animals. However, when paired with a secure, heavy-duty screw-down holder like this one, it becomes a popular and practical way for pet owners to keep tabs on their dogs.
Will this holder fit thick leather or nylon dog collars?
This tracking case is specifically designed to fit pet collars and harness straps with a maximum width of 3 centimeters and a maximum thickness of 4.5 millimeters. Please measure your dog's current collar before ordering to ensure a snug fit.
Is this Palamede AirTag holder an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a one hundred percent authentic Palamede product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources all pet accessories directly from trusted United States suppliers to ensure Indian pet parents receive genuine merchandise.
Does the protective case interfere with the tracking signal or sound?
No, the high-quality polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane materials used are completely signal-transparent. Your Apple AirTag will maintain full Bluetooth connectivity, Precision Finding capabilities, and audible sound alerts without any dampening.
