    very specific routine for use

    I love the way it smells and the way it feels on my skin. I think it really hydrates and deep cleans my skin. I am noticing a difference. However, you have to use it in a very specific way!!!Ideally:1) you scrub it in with dry hands on a dry face for no more than 60 seconds2) then you wet your hands slightly with warm water and scrub again no more than 60 seconds3) wash it off (warm water and washcloth, whatever)4) wash your face with a water-based cleanser for at least another 60 seconds (or longer with this one)5) wash it off6) moisturize (60 seconds, etc)If you scrub the oil cleanser in for too long you can actually end up kind of clogging your pores and getting breakouts.

    Switched from foaming cleanser and not going back

    I switched to this after using a traditional foaming face wash that was starting to leave my skin feeling tight, and I honestly didn't expect to like an oil cleanser as much as I do.I was worried it would feel greasy or leave a residue, but it doesn't at all. It rinses off really clean with warm water and my skin just feels soft-not stripped.One of the biggest things for me is how well it removes makeup. I use tubing mascara, and this breaks it down so easily that it just slides off my lashes without me having to rub at all and cause damage to my lashes, which I really appreciate.It also has a light scent from the rosehip that makes it feel a little more elevated without being overpowering. I like that it doesn't have parabens or mineral oil.Even though it's marketed for the face, I've actually used it on my body as well and it works just as nicely.Only small thing is that if you're used to a foaming cleanser, it takes a couple uses to adjust to the texture-but once you do, it's hard to go back.

    Helped remove redness

    I purchased this to oil cleanse with a silicone face brush and oh my lanta I was not expecting it to have such an effect on the redness that plagues my skin! Despite all the scrubbing my skin was the least inflamed it's ever been in just ONE use (I'm assuming it's the rosehip oil?). My only wish is that it wasn't so heavily fragranced.
