FAQs
Is the Panasonic UB450 worth buying?
Yes, it is highly worth buying for home theater enthusiasts looking for an affordable, reliable player that supports both premium HDR formats: Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It delivers uncompromised 4K video playback and high-resolution audio without the high price tag of flagship models.
Does the Panasonic UB450 have Dolby Atmos?
Yes, the player supports Dolby Atmos bitstream output. When you connect the player via HDMI to a compatible AV receiver or soundbar capable of decoding Dolby Atmos, it will pass the immersive audio data through seamlessly.
Does the UB420 support HDR10+?
Yes, the lower-tier UB420 model does support HDR10+, but it completely lacks support for Dolby Vision. The UB450 is the preferred upgrade for users who require full compatibility with both major dynamic HDR formats.
