Such a fun little vintage inspired radio.Looks so cute sitting on my kitchen counter. The size is compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. Has a good speaker and the sound is clear.

Impressive!
Fantastic little radio! In my opinion the sound is clear even w with the employ of head phones! One review said not good at all with earphones ! I disagree I employ inexpensive wired ear buds at night when I go to bed ,helps me sleep and this radio is very transparent and straightforward on and off as well to adjust stations! Most radios don't work nicely in my Manufactor residence ,usually incredibly static ,this one functions without static! Im not sure how to utilize the rechargeable battery, but you can use with regular batteries ,it has a fine regular plug! Im not sure how long batteries will last as I haven't tried yet! It all suits my needs get it costs is great and you won't be sorry!

This is a superb little radio
I required a digital radio that was uncomplicated to turn on , volume dial easy to use, push buttons to pre program favorite stations in forepart of radio. Anyway, conceivably, my mom should never have a "dead" radio & does not need to take batteries in & out just to charge them. Lights up initially but is not back lit (a little con). After showing her the basic operation of this radio with quite a few return demonstrations of what I asked her to do, (remember her short term memory issues) mom is able to use this radio by herself & is not afraid to use it. Best part the batteries are recharged within the radio itself when the radio is off & plugged in. My mom has early stages of dementia & her short term memory is awful & is usually afraid to touch buttons on the TV remote in fear of messing things up. No old dial trying to find, guess & tune to your station with lots of static & screechy noise. This radio can be utilized as a plug-in or portable with rechargeable batteries. There is some depth to the sound, not tinny sounding. The only con I have is it would be pleasant to have a fold down handle so it's easier to carry. The radio dial is a button up or down that automatically tunes to the stations with decent signals & the station number can be seen on a little digital screen as adequately as the time. Mom also likes the size of the radio, not too small, not too big, so it doesn't take up much space on the bedside table or wherever you choose to put it. This radio does NOT have multiple knobs & buttons which would effortlessly confuse & frustrate a person in the early & possible middle stages of dementia/Alzheimer's. Batteries do not charge if radio is being played even when plugged in. There's so scarce things for her to touch she ends up reasonably much where she wants to be on the radio. Mom says it's the perfect proportions to carry from room to room or her balcony. The sound quality is quite nice for this single speaker & smaller radio size.
