Description
The Patikil 1/4 Inch Male Flare x 1/2 Inch Male Flare Connector is an engineered brass reducing union adapter designed to couple copper or brass tubing lines of differing diameters securely. Built from thickened, high-grade forged brass, this pipe fitting provides exceptional resistance against corrosion and withstands demanding operational environments, handling temperatures ranging from -53 degrees Celsius to 121 degrees Celsius.
Featuring standard SAE 45-degree male flare connections on both ends, it enables a reliable, welding-free mechanical seal for plumbing, fluid transfer, and climate control setups. The centered hex body allows for easy tightening with a backup wrench, ensuring a leak-free installation without requiring thread seal tape on the metal seating surfaces.
Ideal for professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts alike, this versatile coupling component integrates seamlessly into air conditioning networks, refrigeration equipment, pneumatic systems, and fuel lines. Whether you are repairing residential HVAC units or assembling custom gas line configurations, this solid brass adapter delivers consistent dimensional accuracy and long-lasting durability.
How to use
- Slide your compatible flare nut onto the copper tube, then flare the end of the pipe to a 45-degree angle.
