FAQs
Is it okay to put a bell on a dog's collar?
Yes, putting a bell on a dog's collar is generally safe and commonly used for training or to help track a small dog's location. It can provide peace of mind by making your pet's presence known, especially in outdoor environments.
Are cat collars with bells safe?
Bells on cat collars are generally safe, but they should always be used with a breakaway-style collar to ensure the cat can escape if the collar gets caught on an object. The bell helps you track your cat's movement and can alert local wildlife to their presence.
What is the best bell for a dog collar?
The best bell for a dog collar is one that is lightweight, durable, and has a clear, audible ring. Metal bells like those in the Petknows set are highly recommended for their distinct sound and resistance to damage during active play.
