FAQs
Tips on how to safely brush out mats without irritating your pet's skin?
Hold the hair mat near the skin with your fingers to prevent pulling, then use short, gentle strokes with the slicker brush starting from the ends of the hair and working your way up. Avoid applying heavy downward pressure on your pet's skin.
Does your pet have a long, short, or curly coat?
This fine pin slicker brush is highly adaptable and designed to fit long, short, or curly coats efficiently. It reaches deep into the undercoat of longer hair while remaining gentle enough for short-haired breeds.
Alternative grooming tools for short versus long-haired pets?
While slicker brushes work wonderfully across multiple coat lengths to detangle and deshed, short-haired pets may also benefit from grooming gloves, whereas long-haired pets often require an additional undercoat rake or comb for deep mats.
