Description
The Pilot Metal Falcon Collection Fountain Pen in Burgundy with a Fine Nib (60573) bridges the gap between classic artistry and modern engineering. Designed for fountain pen enthusiasts, calligraphers, and writers seeking expressive line variation, this instrument features a unique beak-shaped, soft-flexible 14-karat gold nib that responds fluidly to writing pressure.
The durable lacquered metal body provides a substantial, well-balanced weight in the hand, offering a slightly heavier feel than traditional resin models. Accentuated with polished rhodium-plated trim, this fountain pen delivers smooth, controlled ink flow for effortless everyday writing or light script work.
Equipped with a versatile cartridge and converter filling mechanism, it accommodates both proprietary cartridges and the included Pilot CON-70 converter.
How to use
- Install the included Pilot CON-70 converter or a compatible Pilot ink cartridge into the grip section.
- Submerge the nib entirely into your bottled fountain pen ink, operate the converter to draw ink into the reservoir, wipe the nib clean with a lint-free cloth, and begin writing with a light hand to achieve natural line variation.

simply gorgeous burgundy shade
my office friend insisted I try this exact model for my journal writing and I am so glad she did. the deep burgundy metallic lacquer finish looks stunning under desk lights and the rhodium trim gives it a very clean touch. since it has a heavier brass barrel it rests comfortably in my hand without needing to post the cap. the fine nib flows wet and smooth with nice line variation when writing everyday notes.

old pen stopped working nicely
my usual daily writer was skipping way too much during office notes so picked this up based on a colleagues suggestion. man the weight in hand feels so solid because of that metal body compared to normal plastic pens. writes super smooth and the 14k gold nib has just enough springiness when u press down a bit for thick thin lines. came with that big push button converter too which holds tons of ink. delivery was fast and packing was safe.
