FAQs
Do cat scratch protectors work?
Yes, they are highly effective at preventing physical claw punctures on smooth surfaces like leather. However, it is recommended to provide alternative scratching posts nearby to help redirect your cat's natural scratching behavior.
Will this leave sticky residue on my leather couch?
The protector is designed to be residue-free. When removed properly, it should not leave sticky glue behind. If any minor residue occurs, a gentle professional leather cleaner can be used to wipe it away safely.
Can I use this on fabric furniture?
While specifically designed for smooth leather, it may adhere to some tightly woven fabrics. It is recommended to test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and that the adhesive does not pull at the fabric fibers.
Is this product authentic?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported product. Dropy sources all items directly from the USA to ensure our Indian customers receive genuine, high-quality goods.
What is the best way to stop my cat from scratching the couch?
The most successful strategy is to combine physical protectors with positive redirection. Provide attractive scratching alternatives like sisal mats or vertical posts placed immediately next to the areas the cat currently prefers to scratch.
