FAQs
What is the best thing to stop cats from scratching furniture?
Providing consistent scratching posts alongside furniture protectors is most effective. Clear vinyl protectors like this one discourage scratching by making the surface feel unappealing to the cat's claws, effectively training them to use appropriate scratching surfaces instead.
How to protect a leather sofa from cat scratches?
The most effective method is applying a specialized, non-damaging adhesive vinyl protector. This acts as a physical barrier that prevents claws from penetrating the leather while remaining invisible to the eye.
Do cat scratch protectors work?
Yes, they are highly effective. Most cats dislike the feeling of the smooth, slick surface of the vinyl and will quickly learn to stop scratching the protected area.
