FAQs
Do rubber bands on braces actually work?
Yes, orthodontic rubber bands provide the necessary extra directional force that braces alone cannot achieve. They play a critical role in correcting bite alignment issues such as overbites and underbites, as well as closing gaps between teeth.
Which rubber band size and force is best for braces?
The appropriate size and force level must always be prescribed by your orthodontist based on your specific treatment plan. Using incorrect tension or unprescribed sizes can interfere with your orthodontic progress.
How often should braces elastics be changed?
Intraoral elastics lose their elasticity and tension strength over time. Orthodontists typically recommend changing them multiple times throughout the day to ensure consistent pressure is maintained.
Are these orthodontic rubber bands authentic USA imports available in India?
Yes, these are authentic USA-imported Prairie Horse Supply products. Dropy sources its entire inventory directly from trusted retailers and brands in the USA to ensure genuine quality for customers in India.
Are these rubber bands suitable for people with latex allergies?
No, these elastic bands are made from natural medical-grade latex. Individuals with a known latex allergy should avoid using them and consult their orthodontist for alternative hypoallergenic options.
