FAQs
What can I put on my dog's nipples while breastfeeding?
You can use an all-natural, lick-safe product like PREGNAPAWS Nipple Soothing Balm, which contains food-grade organic ingredients like coconut oil and shea butter to heal chapped skin without harming nursing puppies.
Can you use lanolin nipple cream on dogs?
Standard human lanolin creams can be sticky and may contain additives that are not ideal for pets. It is best to use a specialized, lanolin-free pet balm that is guaranteed to be non-toxic and scent-free.
Can I put vaseline on my dog's nipples?
Vaseline is a petroleum product that can cause digestive upset if swallowed in large quantities by nursing puppies or kittens. A food-grade organic pet balm is a much safer alternative.
