Very solid field radio that operates as nice as it comes across as.
Pretty solid sound for the payment. Quite lovely looking with the wood cabinet! Option of being able to work with an outboard power supply proved to be a godsend as the radio is on a incredibly narrow shelf in the kitchen. Sounds almost as good as my Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker.

Rechargeable and clear stations
I am currently using this AM and FM radio to listen to classical and talk radio. Please be aware that 3 power options are possible. The 2 D dimensions batteries should run this unit for weeks. The solar panel is adjustable, and it actually works as a stand for the radio to keep it from tipping over. It played the files and sounded acceptable. The only feature that did not work for me is the short wave tuner. The adjustable tone control really helps the high end. Unfortunately the built in speaker is weak on any bass response. It is possible I need a wire antenna for those stations. USB-C, built in rechargeable battery, or 2 D measurements alkaline batteries (not included) will work. I also tested the USB port with my flash drive loaded with music. Overall, this radio has been great in my kitchen, and I utilize it every morning. The built in tuners are as it turns out very strong when the aerial antenna is fully extended.

Good radio
Great little radio for it's rate. The SW and AM bands do not perform as nicely for me as the FM, but that's ok. It brings in stations my other radios miss. Anyway... And the sound quality is as it turns out quite good. I treasure this radio. I especially am fond of the strength of the FM tuner. FM is more important to me than the other bands. Much improved than I was expecting.
