Essential in disaster areas
Works as anticipated and has much enhanced reception than another radio (knock-off) I've had that is the same measurements. It is also receiving AM stations with less static or interference. The 2xAA are lasting nicely after several hours of use. squelch) and is useful for emergencies or road trips/camping.I was tired of having a radio that did not have solid reception, the CCrane is picking up local stations my other radio did not. Volume from speaker is good, though the included headphones are superior for clarity vs the single speaker. It scans the bands well. Weather band is vivid as my weather radio. Need to read the instruction manual to understand all the buttons. Some buttons have more than one use. Has good features (e.g. The included case is soft synthetic cloth substance and only protect from sand or sprinkles but not drops or impacts.

Reliable, versatile, and impeccable for both regular utilize and emergencies.
In my area on a hill, FM is nice, AM is poor only one station 1400 can be tuning in. I utilized this unit as a portable Karaoke device or just listen to my favorited music. Video and sound are excellent.

Perfect radio for emergencies and household use!!
This AM/FM Radio is perfect emergencies and daily use!! It has a solar panel that charges reliably in sunlight but also batteries can be used as a backup as well as USB-C. It is great for power outages for sure. The bluetooth connects easily to my phone to stream music, and it also supports a TF card and USB playback for offline use. The reception is excellent across AM, FM, SW1, and SW2 bands, and it has clear sound from the speaker whick surprised me at how loudand powerfulit gets for the size. The large knobs make it easy to use even for seniors. It is 1 lb and lightweight and portable with a handle. I highly recommend this. It is a great value for sure!!

Basic requirement for hurricanes, storms and power outages
The PRUNUS store portable radio can be powered by internal battery or optional 2 D batteries. The internal battery can be recharged via the included USB cord (no A/C wall charger included) or by the built in pivoting solar panel. The radio has FM, AM and Shortwave (SW) 1 & 2 (covering from about 3 MHz to about 23 MHz). The front has the tuning scale, tuning knob, tone and combination On/Off & volume control. On the right side is a switch to select the desired band, a USB-C charging port and an ear phone jack. The top has a fold out handle, pivoting telescoping antenna memory card slot, USB-A, mp3 controls (fast reverse, go/pause & fast forward) and a slide switch for radio vs Bluetooth & mp3. On the back is a small pivoting solar panel and access to the optional D battery compartment. The radio measures about 7" x 4 1/2" x 3". You can use the radio as a Bluetooth speaker or load music onto a memory card and play your favorite mp3. The radio had great sound, considering the small size and lightweight plastic construction. It easily pulled in area FM and AM radio stations. The SW is basically useless with it only being able to pickup a few broadcast. None were international and it was not able to pull in any WWV time broadcasts. Living in S. Fla a battery powered, solar chargeable radio is a basic necessity for hurricanes or any other power outages to keep you informed on what is going on. The tuning dial to me is reverse of what I expected, but easy to get use to. I really like the sound coming from this radio. The radio is a good value at the normal price of $21.99, but Dropy was offering a coupon price of $19.79 at the time of this review, making it a excellent value IMHO.
