Cats love it, even when sick

Unless they need a prescription diet, Purina Pro Plan is what I feed all of my animals. Their food meets WSAVA guidelines (there are only five brands that do so last I checked) so I know they're all receiving a healthy, well-balanced diet made with quality ingredients. My cats never fail to remind me it's dinner time or come running when they hear a can pop open. I like having the smaller 3 oz cans so there's never any leftover waste or they don't gorge themselves until they're sick.I know Purina Pro is a bit pricier than a lot of other brands but in the long run my cats are healthy and vets are always glad to hear they're eating what they do. If it extends the healthy lifespan of my cats, I'm all for it.I personally think the chicken smell is the least egregious of all the cat foods, which I certainly appreciate.Bonus with this variety of chicken and rice entrée is my vet said I could use this instead of cooking bland diets when a cat is sick or recovering from surgery because it's gentle to digest and has lower fat.

A bit expensive but my cats love it....

So after a vet visit, both my cats were listed as being just slightly overweight. I didn't think so as they aren't the typical fat cat you would think of. But, maybe it wouldn't hurt to restrict their calories a bit. They get a nice mix of food, some dry food, some snacks (cutting back), and some wet food. So I thought I would try this wet food to help with keeping their weight in check. And turns out they really really like this food. I've now added this as a subscription purchase so it's worth it if you ask me.
