  Good taste

  Good food. I didn't eat it, but my cats did. If it were more affordable I would've ordered some more to see long term weight loss. They ate it fine though and that's all I can say about it. The texture is a thick pate that they liked.

  Pro Plan is always a big hit among our cats

  We give our cats a variety of different foods, both wet and dry, but the most popular has always been the Purina Pro Plan wet food, specifically the kinds with sauce like this one. We give them at least one can of Pro Plan every day, and all of them eat it to some degree.This was our first time trying this particular flavor, but it was still popular. With the "sauce" recipes like this one, a couple of our cats prefer to just lick up all the gravy, letting the other cats eat the rice and chunks of meat. But they all enjoy the food, and this new flavor was no exception.Purina claims this is 10% lower in calories than their other foods. One of our cats is overweight, so hopefully this will help him. This line of food seems to generally be kept in high regard, making me optimistic of their claims.Note that this item is a case of 24 cans. The listing does not make that especially obvious, with the top claiming a per-ounce cost that would imply there is only one can. No, you aren't paying caviar prices for one can -- this is actually 24 cans.

  My cat followed me around the house like a like a magnet to eat this food

  My cat really does like this Purina pro plan cat food it's for weight management and not that my cat is overweight however she likes to get little treats so I figure if I'm going to give her treats if they're a little bit more health conscious in mind it would be better for her.So as far as for the taste I cannot tell you however she Dove right in I open the canvas a little bit to see if I could get her attention by smell and she was in a dead sleep and she popped right up and I went to the kitchen to get her little treat dish and and whatnot and she followed me like she was a velcro ball! Now I know when she follows me around like that she is absolutely thrilled and content with what she's about to devour, she loved the taste the smell and I approve of the quality. I will have to let you know functionality wise if she maybe ends up losing a little bit of weight because we I have her on a specific you know treat nightly treat thing if this helps her lose a little bit of weight you know it wouldn't be a terrible thing. This cat food is great quality and a great value for the money as well.I like that it is in a gravy chicken and there's little pieces of rice I always like seeing that so I know it's like real you know it's something that obviously if it was in a stew or something like that I would as a human could eat it but but it just gives that look of human type quality in any case I think you for taking a moment to read my review and I hope there's some useful information here for you about my reaction too what I like about the period of pro plan weight management 3 oz cans of food.

  Cat screams for this food

  Unless they need a prescription diet, Purina Pro Plan is what I feed all of my animals. Their food meets WSAVA guidelines (there are only five brands that do so last I checked) so I know they're all receiving a healthy, well-balanced diet made with quality ingredients.My cats never fail to remind me it's dinner time or come running when they hear a can pop open. I like having the smaller 3 oz cans so there's never any leftover waste or they don't gorge themselves until they're sick.I know Purina Pro is a bit pricier than a lot of other brands but in the long run my cats are healthy and vets are always glad to hear they're eating what they do. If it extends the healthy lifespan of my cats, I'm all for it.I feed my four year old cat this weight management diet as she was getting some spread on her and the reduced calories have helped. She also seems to have more energy and is playing all the time. She seems to prefer the saucy, meaty bits type of foods to pates. I personally think the whitefish smells awful but she starts screaming in excitement for it.
