Description
The Python Aquarium Replacement Pump is the essential component needed to maintain your specialized aquarium water changing system. Designed specifically as a replacement T pump for the Python No Spill Clean and Fill System, this part utilizes the hydrodynamic flow of your tap water to create a reliable, powerful siphon.
This mechanism draws water out of your fish tank without the need for manual priming or heavy lifting, making routine aquatic maintenance efficient and mess-free. Crafted from high-quality, durable plastic, it features an integrated, adjustable valve that flips easily between distinct drain and fill positions.
This allows fish keepers to effortlessly switch from siphoning out debris and old water to pumping fresh, temperature-regulated water back into the aquarium. Perfect for hobbyists managing large setups or multiple tanks, this replacement part ensures your specialized cleaning kit remains fully functional for years, protecting your aquatic environment and simplifying your routine.
How to use
- Thread the replacement pump securely onto your compatible plastic or brass faucet adapter.
- Connect your system hose to the side barbs of the T pump.
- Turn on the faucet and adjust the lower valve to the drain position to create suction and pull water from your aquarium.
- To refill the tank, simply switch the adjustable valve to the fill position and allow freshwater to flow back into the aquarium.

FAQs
How long does a Python water changer last?
With proper care, the core system can last for several years. However, individual moving parts like the replacement pump can experience wear from hard water minerals or frequent usage, making a replacement part necessary to restore full suction power.
What is the function of the adjustable valve on the pump?
The adjustable valve allows you to direct the water flow by toggling between drain and fill positions. The drain setting draws water from the tank using faucet suction, while the fill setting reverses the flow to pump fresh tap water back into your aquarium.
Does this replacement pump include the faucet adapter?
No, this product consists of the replacement T pump component only. It must be used in conjunction with a standard brass or plastic Python faucet adapter, which is sold separately.
