    Nice Hydrating Serum, So Far So Good

    Review for "Pyunkang Yul PKY Red Ginseng Propolis Deep Essence Serum for Revitalized & Elastic Skin, with Peptides and Ceramide, Korean Skincare (1.01 Fl. oz)" Pros: -Received 30ml dark glass bottle with black plastic pump top that you can turn to lock and unlock -Really nice light scent that appears to come from the natural ingredients rather than a specific added fragrance -Serum is thin, but not watery; it is slightly thick, almost sticky but not quite -Absorbs well into skin without any bothersome residue (had a slightly tacky feel on my face using after other products, but nothing excessive; didn't feel any tackiness when applied to bare skin on hand) -Definitely feels hydrating -Hasn't caused any irritation to my skin -Seems to have some good ingredients. I won't comment much on that because I'm not an expert, but I took a picture of the ingredient list -Has been working well with my other skincare products and under makeup -Made in Korea Cons: -None that I can think of at this time Overall, this is an enjoyable serum to use. I do wish companies would start providing more details about all the ingredients and what they are for, so customers can better understand their purpose. The current list price of $13.59 down from $16.99 seems like a fair value. I can't speak to any long term results at this time, but if you like the ingredients, then I think it is worth a try at that price.

    Love the warming ginseng!

    My lifestyle often infuses traditional asian medicine, which I have found to be beneficial to me over the years. So when I saw that this brand follows the same philosophies in its formulations, I was excited and intrigued. Red ginseng is a warming ingredient that is often consumed by people who are feeling lethargic, cold and sickly. It is meant to return strength and energy to the body, to put it simply. This serum came at a perfect time for me, as I felt my skin was getting tired and droopy. Right out of the bottle, the propolis serum feels a little sticky and has a dark orange tint to it. I used three drops on my whole face and one drop on my neck. After about a week, I could see my skin looking more alive and glowing. I did not change my routine other than the serum (which was previously the BOJ propolis serum), so seeing the results from Pyunkang Yul was great. This is definitely something I would want to use again in the future when this bottle runs out. Great find!

    Such an amazing serum!

    I have to admit that Pyunkang Yul intrigued me because of how natural their products tend to be. They are fragrance free and are also some of the most affordable skincare products I have ever seen. This serum specifically has common K-beauty ingredients like ginseng and propolis. This specific line has all red packaging and this serum has a pump that locks. The serum is on the thicker side and takes a while for my skin to absorb. Despite this, I don't feel like it makes me greasy and it definitely gives me that glass skin look. After trying it out a couple of times, I came to the conclusion that this line is made for drier skinned people than me, which breaks my heart because I love the formula. It simply weighs my skin down too much and I like to have thin, light layers in my skincare regimen. I definitely recommend this for dry and mature skin. And with these prices, you can't beat it!

    Gorgeous hydrating serum

    I'm 43 with dry, dehydrated, irritable skin, and I'm always looking to try skincare products that are nourishing and hydrating. This serum was an immediate love for me (plus, I'm always a fan of Pyunkang Yul products). The glass bottle is a gorgeous wine red color with a turn-type pump that locks for convenient travel. It dispenses a generous dollop of serum in one pump. The texture of the serum is almost gel-like, but a bit stretchy like honey. It's smooth and feels lightweight and silky on skin, and absorbs quickly without leaving any tackiness behind. It smells lightly warm and slightly herbal/medicinal, with an earthy ginseng scent that gives a spa-like vibe. It smells natural and so beautiful. The formula itself has an excellent ingredient profile, with ginseng extract, propolis, and other soothing/moisturizing ingredients including betaine, adenosine, allantoin, madecassoside, triglycerides, squalane, centella, and ceramide NP. It feels so cooling and soothing on dry or compromised skin. I've only been using it for about one week, so I can't speak to long‑term brightening or other benefits yet, but so far, it layers beautifully with the rest of my routine and hasn't caused any irritation, dryness, or pilling. The instant relief it provides, the scent, and the texture alone are enough to give it a "love" from me. Overall, this is a beautiful, gentle, hydrating serum that has integrated seamlessly into my routine, and even at the full price ($17 for 1 oz on Dropy), this is a steal and something I'll continue reaching for!
