Correct for the funds
Bought this for a just in case scenario. It's tiny, smaller that I thought it would be. Radio functions as told. It has 3 different flashlight modes, AM/FM radio with weather channel and conditions, a hand crank to charge the unit, ports to charge a cell phone. Have needed it yet but did play around with it. Good for the price.

Outstanding Emergency Radio!
I've had several emergency lights, but this one seems to be the best. It has three ways to charge: by cord, solar, and crank. There's a flashlight, a reading light, and an emergency red flashing light. The am/fm radio has a good, strong sound, too. The buttons are easy to use, and it has so many functions that I've probably forgotten some! I would definitely buy it for a gif onet. I bought the very bright red one.

Serious survivalists check this out
I am truly amazed at how long this radio battery lasts after one full charge. It has been in regular use as NOAA emergency weather reports consistently and still reads full charge after 30 days with only intermittent solar charging. I recommend this survival radio. 3 different flash light settings, fm, am modulation and emergency channel selections. Hand crank in the absence of light or ac power source.

Every proper and about to be prepped needs this!
Right out of the box i noticed it has some weight to it. That means it has a decent size battery. I turned it on and immediately had crisp clear weather info from NOAA for my area. warning me of higher than normal tide that evening. I hadn't even put up the antenna! The radio gets excellent reception and is able to fine tune some fairly distant AM/FM stations. My $700.00 AM/FM stereo receiver won't do that without a power antenna. Let's check out the hand crank. NICE! it feels solid with no real slop & feels ver nice as it turns. The light on the end of the unit is bright in all three phases. impressed! The reading light that is on the bottom side of the solar panel is very bright. excellent for reading, playing a game, maybe preparing a small meal or just about anything really. Great lights overall and all are sure to please. I have not been able to test the solar panel but i have read other reviews and people are very please with it, for what it is. The End opposite of the three phase light has a rubber flap that protects you on/off light switch, your USB port and your small USB in for the charge cable that IS included. This flap is nice quality and stays in place nicely..i guess i could go on. I have ordered more for Christmas gifts and one more for myself. Bad weather, natural disasters, or worse, this is a must have. Don't just think about it, buy it. I noticed they are selling hundreds and hundreds per month. More & more people are getting prepared to deal with bad weather and god knows what else. I think its foolish no too.One more thing, the SOS distress signal is CRAZY LOUD. That alone is worth the price. For hikers or any person that goes off into the woods, drives off-road, boating..this is a great way to call for help..i'll bet this thing could be heard a mile away. Run out of battery power? You have the hand generator and solar panel to keep things going. So glad i found this as part of emergency preparedness setup. ✌🏼
