Wonderful article
Bought a qty of 2. After 1÷ month, one of the device froze and wouldn't reset nor turn itself off. It seemed like it froze and no matter what it would work at all. Dropy got me in touch with the manufaturer and they sent me a replacement for free within 3 days.I am happy with how this issue was handled by Dropy and the device manufacturer.

Works great
They work great, even through the building and across the street. Very clear audio. The only thing I don't like is the volume control. The lowest setting is still pretty loud for the FM radio, very loud for FM radio static, and PIERCINGLY loud for the static from the WX radio (which the radio mode defaults to). But still, it's better for it to be too loud at minimum than too quiet at maximum.Batteries seem to last good so far. I haven't used them much yet other than for a few walkietalkie test rounds and a bit of radio time, but they're both still full power. My cellphone can't do that unless the screen is off 100% of the time.I bought them specifically for power outages. I turn mine on when I take walks or go outside in general, so if the power goes out when I'm not home (and still in the area) my mom can turn hers on and let me know about the power. She is on floor 3 and I am on 2, so it's also great for inside during an outage: Even if my cellphone works (depending on severity it may or may not work), her house phone will definitely not.Works great, very good price, does not need mains power to charge the battery. This is a great peace-of-mind product. We get maybe 2 power outtages a year that last under 10 minutes, but I need the assurance I get from products like this that a multi-hour power outage will have minimal impact on my at-home routine and comfort.

The range is good for this. About a half mile. Great for my bug out bag.
FAQs
Is walkie-talkie legal in India?
In India, using low-power walkie-talkies that operate on license-free frequency bands like the 446 MHz PMR band is legal for personal and commercial use. However, high-power devices or those operating on restricted VHF or UHF frequencies require an operating license from the Wireless Planning and Coordination wing of the Ministry of Communications.
What is the best emergency radio with solar and hand crank?
The best emergency radios combine reliable FM and weather tuning with multiple backup power options like a hand crank, solar panels, and a rechargeable battery. The QNIGLO multi-functional two-way radio model stands out because it integrates these emergency power features directly into a functional pair of long-range walkie-talkies.
What is the longest range a walkie-talkie can reach?
The maximum communication distance depends largely on terrain and obstructions. While many heavy-duty models are tested for up to 3 miles or more in open, flat areas or line-of-sight conditions, the practical range inside cities or thick forests usually reduces due to buildings, hills, and interference.
