Very sensitive for picking up Short Wave Stations!
This is a very nice, higher end radio that works really well for picking up remote stations. It has a lot of features so carefully read the manual to figure out all the functions. I tested it on FM/AM/LW and SW stations and it did a great job on all the frequencies (didn't find any LW stations during my test). I was particularly impressed about how well it brought in SW stations. I sat out on my swing around 2 PM and it picked up over 15 SW stations. I have many SW radios and I normally only get about 3-5 stations during the afternoon in Iowa (see video). Also, if you just clip a long wire to the antenna (or wrap it a few turns) you can get the stations in much stronger. However, it did a great job even without an external antenna. One important thing about the radio is that it does "NOT" come with a rechargeable lithium battery. However, it stated this in the description that it required a button-top 18650 battery. I happened to have several (see picture) and it work great and charged thru the radio just fine. In conclusion, I recommend this radio for someone who wants a better-quality radio with great sensitivity.

I've lost my mind to buy other radios. It's performance is very good. FM reception is best to compared other portable radios(etc. Tecsun PL-880, Sangean ATS-909x). MW and SW reception also very good. But it is no SSB function.
