  I utilize Creme de La Mer… and THIS cream.

  Assuming there's no false advertising going on, this is a very cost effective 1% retinol serum. Mine is hard to press and more regularly than not ends up shooting the serum all over my hands instead of a agreeable dollop on my fingers. For the treasure of somebody, why does there need to be so much? No wonder it's drying up my skincare layers! Even if the retinol were a lie, it's a decent cost for a 5% niacinamide serum, so I figured I wasn't losing out on much if the retinol turned out to be a lie.I did have a very mild purge when I started using this (every other day for the first week, daily after that). It has an odd smell that my brain calls "medicinal," which is a terrible description, but I can't articulate it any superior than that. It's oddly gentle considering the high retinol percentage, so it's a fine retinol starter if your skin isn't sensitive. Amazeballs.The serum itself has a loose gel texture that goes on almost like a dry oil. The pump kind of sucks. As far as the retinol claims go, it looks legit. The scent doesn't linger.It comes in a brown glass pump bottle, but not a very dark brown as it's quite easy to see how much serum you have left. It dries down incredibly fast and tends to dry up any dampness from previous layers of skincare. Which was a minor miracle in itself, as I've never really purged from AHA or BHA. It's excessive and makes this formula not friendly to skin that is prone to dehydration or to those who live in dry climates.It's not hydrating or moisturizing, so you would only use this for the retinol and niacinamide benefits. And since this is retinol, always remember to wear sunscreen! It's the second ingredient on the list! I can't get enough hydration in my cheeks during the dry summer months, so they end up feeling dehydrated during the day. One pump is adequate for my face, but I have a small face and am not generous with application.My main beef with this formulation is the amount of hyaluronic acid in it. After a couple months of usage, my skin was noticeably smoother and my pores looked smaller. I only harp in this fact due to the fact literally everywhere else, 1% retinol anything is incredibly pricey, yet this no-name maker does even improved than The Ordinary at retinol pricing?

  Astonishing piece. Cherish this article! It's an simple way to have a spa treatment at home. These individual pads get the dirt out. I'm amazed how much dirt ends up on the pad even when I think my face is pristine.

  Light, Hydrating, and Skin-Loving

  Having suffered for 10+ years with psoriasis due to menopause I read an article that squalane helped heal someone's eczema. This is such a Godsend that I am putting this order in as a subscription so I will never run out. I was ready to try anything to get it under control.Found this product in my search on Dropy, and it was affordable adequate to experiment with. To this day my order has not been filled!!! Now these are similar in that my psoriasis began as eczema (even had it biopsied and confirmed as eczema) but once it continued beyond a year my doctor declared it as psoriasis. After about 2 months the itching and redness got significantly better that I stopped using the steroid cream. Twice a day I applied my steroidal cream as usual, then moisturized with squalane, a little goes a long way. There's still a spot that was incredibly coarse but I will keep on it with the squalane. So tempted to delete this review After 3 1/2 months my skin looks enhanced, feels smoother, and doesn't itch. I even kept my order after being asked if I wanted to cancel. It covered the highest of my arches on both feet so it's unsightly, like "red" alligator skin, itched am pleased with crazy, and is so embarrassing! It smells attractive too, light lemony, verbena!Update 5/2/22: After giving this great review, I have not received my order for more cream which was produced on 2/25/22.

  Decent for my sensitive skin!

  Ok, maybe a mechanic after a day's work. I will continue to use these for other benefits, maybe the pore reduction will come in time. So, 4 stars just for that.On the other hand, there is a temporary reduction in the size of pores, but that seems to go away once the stuff is washed off, or a certin amount of time has transpired. I've had decades worth of problems with acne, and have never been able to solve it. Yet, my acne persisted.So, in my experience, there was a benefit I did not necessarily expect, and what it claims to do, is questionable. but I lived with it. That toner on contact, visibly reduced the measurements of my pores. Assuming they don't contain (or contain minimal) alcohol. Once in the morning, and once before bed. I was ready to give up after about 3 weeks, until I noticed my breakouts were clearing up, and not returning. I don't even think that's an advertised benefit with these pads. Also, these seem to clog my pores more than just washing with soap or using Tidy & Clear, or another cleansing article.Another thing I did like about these pads (besides being pre-soaked), is that they do not burn. Prior to this I was using Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner, which I can't find anywhere anymore (hence the switch, though it is on their company website), and that stuff BURNED... I've used these for 2 months.
