FAQs
Which is finer, 400 grit or 600 grit?
600 grit is finer than 400 grit. It is utilized for ultra-fine final surface polishing, buffing, and creating a smooth finish between protective coats.
Will 400 grit remove paint?
400 grit is a fine abrasive primarily meant for smoothing and surface preparation rather than heavy stripping. For removing thick paint layers, a coarser grit such as 80 is recommended.
