A serious radio.
The radio itself is extremely nice, condensed, and it's easy to get the radio station you want. Primarily bass guitar and piano. I first noticed it when "somewhere only we know" was playing on a music station. Or maybe like a train crossing alarm going off in the distance. It's distracting to the point that it's unlistenable.I mostly use the radio to listen to talk radio, news, sports, and occasional classical music (something to have on as white noise at night). But songs that have a lot of bass, guitar, or backing piano, just don't sound right on this little guy. I'm using it to listen to classical music proper now and it sounds perfect. My son played with it for a few hours on batteries with no difficulty.Bad: when listening to music, there's a distinct metallic "ringing" sound that reverberates on deep sounds or low notes. Just what an analogue radio should be. I have issues with the sound grade.Nice: performs with batteries, haven't tested the battery life but seems pretty efficient. If you plan to employ this radio to listen to up-to-date music, you might want to keep looking. The piano in the background of the song sounded like a person wearing high-heels walking through a concrete tunnel. For these purposes, it's superb. The flutes sound like flutes. The violins sound like violins.

Actually, fine quality and good features. A bit of a learning curve, though.
Very nice reception. I keep it in my shop so I can listen to Fox news and Mark Levin while working. Bluetooth connects incredibly simply and quickly. Performs wonderful for me.

A Serious toy for a Modest price
Amazing radio. Fm magnificent, am is remarkably sensitive and selective. Also there is no dial light so cannot see the scale in dim or dark. I am extra class ham radio operator so I know what I'm talking about. I am listening to SW now with just the built in 2 antennas and hearing plenty of SW stations. I prefer analog dial than digital as there is no blanking between stations. There is no earphone jack also. Speaker craftsmanship is excellent. Solar charging good if camping or using outside. Built in battery magnificent and backup D cells good for emergency and in case the built in battery goes dead. I did not check out the tf card slot. C usb charging good but the plug should be in back or side.

Amazingly compact and capable.
Before ordering this radio I researched a little about it on a couple radio forums/discussion groups. The comments were mostly positive and people seemed generally excited about the radio. So I went for it, and I'm glad I did. I was surprised even before I opened the box. I had a mental image of what this radio would look like based on the pictures, all of which were isolated images and not taken juxtaposed with anything else against which I could judge the size. The radio turned out to be a lot smaller than I expected (see photo), but that's part of the reason I like it so much. This tiny package is an AM/FM/SW/VHF and Weather Band radio, a media player (from optional TF memory card), a Bluetooth receiver, and alarm clock, an LED flashlight, and an ear-piercing emergency alarm. Have I missed anything? It also has a 7-8 hour lithium battery, a sleep timer function, multiple presets for sound equalization, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port on top, a telescoping and clip-on wire antenna, and a remote app for your phone or tablet that mirrors the hardware controls while also giving direct button access to functions that are more buried on the radio itself. I don't want to over blow any expectations about the capabilities of the tiny speaker in this radio, but I do think it's pretty amazing for the size. It has a very powerful sound without breaking up, and while there is no way that you can get much bass out of something this small, there is the "suggestion" of bass power. In fact at low volumes when placed closer to your ear it does give the impression of a high-excursion headphone driver. Taken in the context of a tiny radio the sound is generally pleasant even for music, with great clarity. And if you think the speaker is wimpy, just accidentally press and hold the left button while trying to turn on the flashlight (which actually should be turned on with two short button presses). I recommend you hang on to the strap while doing this... It has been noted that although the radio does cover the aircraft band, it does not happen to be able to demodulate AM for that band and consequently it will not play aviation transmissions. If you have specific requirements for SW/VHF you may want to consult with the manual to make sure it does what you want. While writing this I am listening to MP3 music from my computer through this Raddy radio (via Bluetooth) when I could just as well be listening through my Tannoy studio monitors. It just sounds cool coming from this tiny box. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It seems well made and the price is very good considering the capabilities. Highly recommended.
