second time buying this
Buying this for the second time for another room window. Only thing is you must switch off the night vision so the lights dont reflect on the glass, otherwise quality is good.
FAQs
How to attach wyze camera to window?
Clean your glass window thoroughly, apply the self-adhesive mount firmly, and let it set for at least six hours. After the adhesive bonds, remove the original camera base and slide your Wyze Cam OG into the bracket.
Is the Wyze window mount reusable?
The window mount relies on adhesive tape to stick to glass surfaces. While the holder itself is durable and weatherproof, the adhesive strip typically requires replacement if removed and reapplied to ensure secure holding power.
Does this mount fit cameras other than Wyze Cam OG?
No, this accessory is custom-molded exclusively for the Wyze Cam OG camera model and is not compatible with other camera versions or brands.
Are these authentic USA-imported security accessories available in India through Dropy?
Yes, Dropy sources all products directly from the USA to guarantee 100% authenticity for customers across India.
Why should I turn off night vision when using a window mount?
Turning off the camera's infrared night vision and status lights prevents reflection and glare from bouncing off the glass pane, ensuring a clear view of the outside.
