  1. With the handles slightly open, rotate the inside lever 180 degrees so that the curved end touches the inside of the opposite handle to activate the spring.
  2. Hold the nipper handles comfortably in the palm of your hand with the blade side touching the excess cuticle or hangnail you wish to remove.
  3. Squeeze the handles together gently to snip.
  4. Clean the blades thoroughly with alcohol after each use and store in a dry place.
