Description
Revolution Selamectin Topical Solution provides comprehensive, monthly parasite protection for cats weighing between 5.1 and 15 pounds. This veterinarian-prescribed formula offers a reliable 5-in-1 defense system against common feline parasites, including adult fleas, flea eggs, heartworm disease, ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms. By applying this simple, once-a-month topical treatment, you ensure your feline companion receives continuous protection against both internal and external threats.
Formulated with the active ingredient selamectin, the solution is absorbed into the bloodstream after topical application and circulates to protect the pet from the nervous system of parasites. This treatment is suitable for cats 8 weeks of age and older. Each box contains six individual tubes, providing a full six-month supply when administered as directed by a licensed veterinarian. Maintaining a regular monthly schedule is essential for the ongoing health of your pet, especially in environments where parasite exposure is common. Ensure your cat's coat is dry before application, and avoid washing or allowing the pet to get wet for at least two hours following treatment to maximize effectiveness.
How to use
- Ensure the cat's coat is dry before application.
- Press the tube cap firmly down until you hear a click to puncture the seal.
- Part the hair at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.
- Place the tip of the tube directly onto the bare skin and squeeze the tube to empty its entire contents onto one spot.
- Do not massage the solution into the skin.
- Keep the cat separated from other pets until the application area is dry.
