Nice application
I appreciate the ingredients, as well as the application process and storage. It is extremely easy and mess-free to apply. The sponge allows your hands to stay clean and touch-ups are quick and convenient. I am a tad concerned about reusing the sponge for an extended period of time, especially when reapplying after sweaty outdoor activities. If necessary, I do suppose you could simply hand wash the sponge. Otherwise, my only minor complaint would be that it does have a slight white cast, even on my pale skin. It is not horrible and certainly expected considering it contains zinc oxide. Overall, when applied and set, I would say I shimmer a tad like a Twilight vampire. Since I only use zinc oxide sunscreens, this is not bothersome to me in the slightest.

cosmetically elegant and wonderful finish
I was a big fan of the Round Lab sunscreen coming in. However, the one I liked was the Korean version with all the advanced filters and was in a cream form. I wasn't sure how successful the transition to the mineral-only, cushion form would but my concerns were quelched by the genuinely positive experience I had with this. The product applies without any cast and I was surprised to find it was more cosmetically elegant as Korean SPFs typically are. You get none of the eye sting (as expected of zinc oxide ones) and at least I got zero irritation from it. One suggestion if you're concerned about the quantity and/or the effectiveness when compared to a lotion based one is to use this for reapplications. Reapplication is so important, particularly if you're sweating or swimming. Your first can be with, maybe a more affordable sunscreen that acts as a good base. You could carry this cushion around and reapply in the bathroom at your leisure. This one is a great choice for newer applications as its formula is so subtle compared to others. Also, I always use a UV camera to test out sun protective products and this one shows signs of protection against UV.

My favorite summer uv product
The Round Lab birch juice moisturizing UV lock cushion is my go-to sunscreen when I'm outdoors or traveling. It comes with a mirror and a convenient applicator. The texture is light, cooling, and nongreasy. Although it is 100% mineral, there is no obvious white cast. It is great for touch-ups on the go.
