It does contain a form of retinol so that explains the product's suggestion to use sun protection.It has a creamy consistency and leaves my skin softer and more hydrated than many serums. It's milky and smooth and doesn't have a sticky consistency.I've had no reactions and am really happy with the ampoule and everything I've tried from this company.

Round Lab has been sort of hit or miss for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by this serum. First off, it's completely unscented, which is great for those of us with sensitive skin and/or scent sensitivities. The serum is milky colored and absorbs well, leaving my skin lightly moisturized. I've decided to make it my red light therapy serum--I like to have something on my skin since it feels too tight freshly cleansed.
