FAQs
What type of wood is your cutting board made of?
This conditioner is designed to be compatible with all types of wooden kitchenware, including hard woods like maple, walnut, cherry, and bamboo. It works by penetrating the porous structure of the wood to provide lasting hydration and protection regardless of the species.
Is your board brand new or heavily used?
This product is an excellent choice for both scenarios. For new boards, it provides a crucial initial seal to prevent damage. For heavily used boards, the oil helps restore moisture to parched wood while the beeswax fills in small surface abrasions.
How often should I apply this wood wax?
For optimal results and to keep your kitchenware in peak condition, it is recommended to reapply this wax every three to four weeks. If the wood begins to look dull or feels dry to the touch, it is a sign that it is time for a fresh application.
