    Best dog food for small dogs who are picky eaters

    My 11yr old morkie is the pickiest eater. The vet recommended I put him on a diet and so I thought I would give this a try since it's made specifically for tiny dogs. I mix the wet and dry food together and finally he looks forward to it and absolutely loves it!! Definitely worth the money for a happy pup.

    Dachshund is trim, lean and not mean with Royal Canin.

    I have a Dachsund and if you have one, you know that weight management is a bit concern. My dog will eat anything! Garlic cloves (bad for him) string, paper, raccoon scat, anything and everything at ground Level. At higher elevations, he begs mercilessly for ice cream, pizza, pasta, anything processed. Hold on, don't get too concerned, he only gets tiny tidbits of those things, he also gets healthy does of fruit, green beans, carrots, and of course, Royal Canine weight control. At each meal he gets about 1/8 cup of Canin kibble with a protein (chicken, fish, or half a teaspoon of canned dog food). He's a year and half now and his weight stays perfectly level at 14 pounds. He does understand that if he gets too heavy he can't fly to vacation with me, so I think that is part of his motivation to stay trim. This kibble is perfect for his needed roughage.
